The audio in the video is a selected portion from the sound installation for the exhibition, that exists in two parts, the first part being the original 14 minute audio piece, and the second half (which this excerpt is from) is a collaborative intervention with multi-disciplinary artist Blackhaine , Making the contributions of added samples, distortion, production, and rapped verses of his own alongside mineMP3, durration 35:13

The body of the audio piece is comprised of a “trap beat”, but instead of layering all of the instrumental elements on top of each other to present the full composition, I separated each layer and instead placed them side by side as If laid out on a dissection table, each layer playing one after the other. A literal extension of the theme of dissection in the show, First hi-hats, then snare, then percussion roll, then kick drums, then 808s, then the “melody” then the final composition fully layered together
With found audio of rappers, and field recordings of helicopters over my neighborhood, and various producers and DJ tags
